From Naples airport to your hotel
When flying to Naples you will land at Aeroporto di Napoli (NAP) 'Ugo Niutta' - 'Capodichino'. The Naples airport is only 6 kilometers from the center of Naples and you can choose from a number of options to reach your hotel in the city centre.
1) Alibus-Airport Shuttle
The cheapest option to go from the airport to the center of Naples is the Alibus Airport Shuttle of the transport company ANM:
- Stops from the airport: Piazza Garibaldi (Central Station) - Immacolatella/Porta di Massa - Molo Angioino/Beverello (Stazione Marittima).
- The ride to the central station takes 20 minutes. At the station you can change to the Naples metro.
- Buses run between 6:00 AM and 12:00 AM and depart on average 3 times per hour (see schedule of departure times)
- A single ticket costs 5 euros. You can buy the tickets at the ANM point at the airport or central station. Tip: You can already buy your bus tickets online.
2. Airport transfer by taxi
Because the airport is close to the center, taxis are very affordable. Taxis have a flat rate, depending on the area of your hotel, the extra baggage allowance and evening surcharges. A normal ride to a hotel in the center will cost between 20 and 27 euros. You will find the taxis directly opposite the arrivals hall, but you can also book this transfer in advance.
